Waimarie: Hamilton East Community House is a small community house offering a range of services.

If you live in the southeastern side of Hamilton,
you are invited to attend:

Coming Together on Common Ground: South-East Hamilton

Saturday, 22 September from 6:00 – 8:30 PM

This is a neighbourhood party to have fun and get to know your local community better.

We start with a potluck so bring your favourite cultural or family dish to share. If you can’t bring food, that’s ok too–just come!

We will then have interesting discussions and activities that will leave you feeling more connected with your neighbours and inspired about where you live.

If you’re new to Hamilton, this event will help you to feel more at home.

When participants were asked what they enjoyed most about the past events, they responded:

  • “Bringing people together,”
  • “The ambience and open sharing,”
  • “sharing ideas and resources with community initiatives,” “friendliness and well organised—a lot of fun,”
  • “conversation, food, and meeting people living in my community,”
  • “everyone talked about ideas to help the community and neighbourhood.”

Participation is free but you’ll feel richer when you leave!
